The Davis Farmers Market is the heart, soul and community gathering place of Davis, California. Each week, the market transforms the city’s Central Park into a lively scene worthy of an impressionist painting, with fresh local produce, farm products, crafts, baked goods, hot food and coffee. Since 1976, the market has been a national leader that has influenced local food systems nationwide and draws visitors from around the world.

As the Market approached its 50th anniversary, it needed to rally public giving to support the evolution of the market over the next 50 years. In addition to supporting small businesses and the local agricultural economy, Davis Farmers Market also runs Davis Farm to School, which maintains a garden in every K-12 Public school in town. We helped Davis Farmers Market bring together the whole story through a 50th anniversary brand refresh that maintained the integrity of its existing watermelon logo, clear, fresh messaging and marketing strategy.
